Stage design and costume design for a production at Puppentheater Magdeburg for children from four years old. König Kolossal just can’t get enough. We developed the idea and conception based on Mitsumasa Anno’s children’s book and turned it into a puppet and object theatre play.
Everything in König Kolossals kingdom is as big as possible. He needs to have the tallest plate and a giant toothbrush.
König Kolossals oversized toy block playground had to appear huge but still he had to carry and toss the blocks around on his own.
Technical drawings and color chart for the Atelier.
König Kolossal needs to have the tallest duvet.
König Kolossal needs to have an innummerable ammount of servant puppets, so we had to 3D-print them.
If he wants to feel like a trap king, his wish is an order.
Premiere on 13 October 2019 at Puppentheater Magdeburg.
