Stage design and costume design for a production at Puppentheater Magdeburg for children from four years old. König Kolossal just can’t get enough. We developed the idea and conception based on Mitsumasa Anno’s children’s book and turned it into a puppet and object theatre play.
For König Kolossals oversized toy block playground we had to find out the right volumes and materials for the blocks so that they would appear huge but he could still carry and toss them around on his own.
Technical drawings and color chart for the theatre workshops.
Of course König Kolossal needs to have the tallest duvet too.
Because König Kolossal needs to have an innummerable ammount of servant puppets, we had to 3D-print them.
If the König wants to feel like a trap god, his wish is an order.
Premiere on 13 October 2019 at Puppentheater Magdeburg.
